Braids are classic and often summon memories of schoolgirl days and visions of Amanda Seyfried in Mamma Mia. Over the years, the style has experienced several reworkings and evolutions that can function anywhere from the real world to the runway to the red carpet. The version I fancy the most is the effortless gathering of interlacing sections at the side of nape of the neck. I have the longing to cut my hair, which is currently a couple of inches below my collarbone, but I think I'm going to have to reexamine those plans after surveying pictures of diverse plaited coiffures.

I am a huge Plait/Braid fan, partly because it keeps the long wavy locks in order but also I love the Boho look...although my plaits are relatively plain in comparison to these lovely ladies.....good luck with your decision ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't plait to save myself... its a real loss on my part when they all look so amazing!

I'm trying to master the braided bangs right now -- not very good at it yet but I'm working hard! And I love the messy side braid for spring.
ReplyDeleteAs a side note, I'm OBSESSED with the name of your blog... So cute!
