There are a few things that I will not miss about being a student: paying exorbitant tuition each semester and student parking which always seems to be in the lot farthest away from the building. There's always a flip side and I will mourn the loss of summer vacation, buying new school supplies, and the guaranteed Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. However, I'm enjoying the perks while I can, so you can imagine just how thrilled I was to receive the news that the city was cloaked with snowfall and school was cancelled for the day! I made sure to shovel sugar into my mouth, devour copious cups of peppermint hot chocolate, and catch up on an array of reading material (including a manual for my new camera my parents bought me!).
